Separate premium from payment schedule

An insurer may quote an annual premium yet collect it monthly, sometimes with instalment fees or other conditions. A monthly estimate on this site is simply one-twelfth of its illustrative annual range. It does not predict taxes, financing charges, deposit requirements or the insurer's billing calendar.

Compare the full-year cost

Ask for the total amount payable over the policy term, not just the first withdrawal. Check renewal timing and cancellation terms as well. If you can pay annually, ask whether that changes the total. Choose a payment schedule you can maintain without missing a due date.

A simple comparison example

Two quotes may have similar monthly withdrawals while one includes a larger initial payment or different instalment fees. Ask both providers for the total payable over the full policy term and put that amount beside the coverage summary. That is more informative than comparing only the amount taken from your bank each month.
